Tying off really works. Just ask a cellular tower worker who slipped off a tower this week in Milwaukee, Wis., and was saved by his safety harness, according to WTMJ-TV.
Unable to lift himself up because of fatigue, he was left hanging nearly 70 feet in the air for a half an hour until a neighbor came by, saw him and called emergency personnel. After arriving at the scene, the Milwaukee Fire Department's Heavy Urban Rescue Team used a bucket lift to retrieve the worker.
The worker, who reportedly is employed by T-Mobile, was unhurt.
